Does God still use dreams to speak to us? As strange and bizarre as they seem at times? The bible is full of examples where God has used dreams to speak to his people. In this Bridgetown Church podcast, Jeannine Rodriguez-Everard uses these stories to lay out a biblical theology of dreams as well as an intro to interpretation.
Mark Sayers, in this RED church sermon, provides a timely pastoral comment about our responses to the confusion surrounding same-sex attraction, the redefining of sexuality, and marriage, in secular society. He addresses historical, theological and cultural perspectives that impact how we understand these multi-layered issues, encouraging us to maintain a high view of the scriptures, and of sexuality, as well as a high view of love and grace.

In this short podcast, Simon Holley provides a practical explanation for how one hears God’s voice. It’s as simple as using our brains, our eyes, our gut, and our words — taking a risk — and then watching God move in powerful ways.
In the gospels, Jesus never refused to heal any person who asked for healing. He may have said ‘wait,’ but in the end, they were always healed. As disciples of Jesus, we are called to do the same. What a challenge!
How do we heal the sick when our experiences of prayer are so different from those in the Bible? How do we make sense of people not being healed in faith? How do we step out in faith in the power of the Holy Spirit, even when we’re scared? How do we persevere until we see breakthrough?
In this podcast, Paul Macconochie tackles this difficult topic with maturity and poise, outlining his personal stories and learnings from decades of prayer ministry.

Sociologists tell us that human beings connect in four different sizes of gatherings: a) public space, b) social space, c) personal space and d) intimate space. The New Testament church, it seems, also gathered according to these social dynamics.
In this podcast, Alex Absalom argues that the Western church is struggling to function as a healthy community, in part, because of the way in which we meet. He argues that public space (i.e. congregational gatherings) function differently than social space (i.e. extended family on a mission), from personal space (discipleship groups), from intimate space (married couples)… and we would do well to pay attention to all four!
Mark Sayers from RED Church provides a timely message in preparation for Easter. Faith is not about living an easy life, but about being faithful in all situations. God is not absent when we cannot feel Him — painful and difficult times are often a sign of spiritual maturity because God is shaping us in His image. We are more than our desires and emotions — allow Lent (the period preceding Easter) to become a pregnant pause.
Ying Kai is the founder of T4T (Training for Trainers), which is one of the most dynamic Church Planting Movements in the world today. In 1999, Ying Kai (a Taiwan Chinese missionary) left Hong Kong for mainland China, with a vision to train reproducible disciple-makers (which he calls ‘trainers’). In less than a decade, T4T had multiplied a small band of disciples into a movement of more than 80,000 new churches, with more than 2 million baptisms.
Let’s listen and learn from missionary stories coming out of Asia, Africa and the Middle East. God is on the move! The T4T story may challenge you. It may also inspire you into passionate prayer, radical obedience and reproducible disciple-making!
